Your responsibilities:
- A two-year apprenticeship specialising in machining or metal forming
- Attending vocational school with block teaching
- Learning how to manufacture precision mechanical housings and components
- Testing the properties of metals and materials
- Selection of suitable tools and machinery for the various stages of the process
- Maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Setup and control of machinery and equipment
- Manual machining involving filing, milling, drilling, turning and welding
